Pam Clark – November 5th 2010

Pam Clark, LMFT will present Forgiveness Under Fire: Transformational Experiences.  Forgiveness is a uniquely Christian concept, and even in Christian circles, it is often misunderstood. Pam Clark will share experiences from her working and teaching in Rwanda over the course of multiple trips in the past four years. Rwanda is a country in which almost every countryman has either experienced devastating trauma, or been the perpetrator of it – a country desperate for healing and forgiveness. Pam profoundly experienced that reaching beyond her familiar realms deepened her knowledge and understanding, enabling her to recognize God’s lifelong preparation in our lives. How do such experiences benefit us as therapists? How can such experiences impact our counseling practice here? How might such experiences benefit our clients? Pam will explore these questions with us using a combination of story telling, informational, and interactive formats.

Pam has been on the counseling staff at North Coast Church in Vista for over thirteen years. She also serves as the Women’s Director of the Single Adult Ministry of the same church, involved with assessing, envisioning, planning and implementing relevant programs, seminars and support for single women and men. She is the single mom of three adults sons who loves to sing, travel and spend time with loved ones. Pam also trained with Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais and has taught this method for over 34 years ( teaching at USC for 13 of those years).  Please visit her at
