This meeting will focus on getting to know each other professionally. Instead of having a presentation, we will have time for each attendee to share about themselves, their practice, and/or their needs. The hope is that people will become better acquainted with each other’s specialties, know how to make referrals, and identify others who they may wish to develop a deeper relationship with as a result. There will be time after the meeting to mingle and connect. We encourage everyone to bring marketing literature and plenty of business cards! The amount of time you will have for sharing will depend on the total RSVPs we get – we are guessing that you’ll have about two-three minutes. That’s much more time than usual, but still not a lot…so please come prepared. Below are some suggestions to help get you focused – you probably can’t cover them all:
- Talk about your specialty / niche / trainings / area of focus
- Promote things you are doing professionally
- Share any needs you have
- Express a desire to connect more with others outside of CAPS
